Welcome to the Objectivist Club at NYU!
Wednesday, 29 March 2006

The Objectivist Club at NYU has a tripartite mission:

  • To provide a receptive atmosphere for individuals interested in learning about Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism.
  • To educate club members in Objectivism, primarily through weekly guided discussions.
  • To disseminate Objectivist ideas throughout NYU and NYC, primarily by inviting distinguished Objectivist lecturers.

We have lively discussions every week, host interesting lectures during the school year, and put together fun social outings for our members. This sometimes involves sushi.

"Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of your moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values." -Ayn Rand
